![]() What Can You Do You can look at the plans by visiting the central offices of Barnsley M.B.C. This is located up the ramp over the bridge opposite the Civic Hall. They can be viewed any time during office hours If you have any observations about the proposals let your views be known. In the first instance write to:- Ruth Middleton Assistant Director Planning and Transportation Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council TOWN HALL BARNSLEY These need to be idividual letters NOT petitions. (these don't have the desired effect) The next is to write to your Local Councillors.( see contacts page ) Many of the independent councillors are against the proposal so need your support. There are many who are up for re-election this year because of the boundary changes so will be keen to listen to their electorate. Another usefull tact is to contact your local Area Forum Officer find out when the next meeting is, attend and make your views known by asking questions at question time. |
